Last email home

Dear Family,

What’s up! There isn't too much to report to y'all about this past week except for the fact that we have two investigators who might be getting baptized this Saturday.  They have baptismal dates for this weekend but we might postpone it if we feel they need a little bit more time to prepare for it.  We will do what we feel is best for them and the family.  We also started teaching a young lady last night and she said yes to baptism but because she doesn't live in Conway we didn't set a specific date. We will be seeing her again Tuesday.

I really doubt that I will be able to email next Monday, because we will be in the Temple most of the day and I will probably have tons of other stuff on the last day.  All the departing Missionaries will have an extra P-Day on Saturday to do all our packing.

I hope y'all have a good week and be safe. LOVE Y'ALL.

Love,
Elder Wawro

Thank you for the Birthday wishes

Dear Family,

Hey, Hey, Hey, this week was great! We were able to see John be baptized and I actually got to baptize him!   I do have a few pictures and will try to send them in a separate email.  Two of those were taken when I was eating a RACOON!!!!!!!! Yea, I finally got the entire Arkansas experience, it only took 23.5 months.

There are 9 Missionaries that will be going home with me at the end of this transfer and 17 new Missionaries will be coming into the Mission.   So the big Missionary rush is kind of starting for our Mission.

Thanks for your card and Birthday wishes!

My last P-Day Monday will be a Temple trip and interviews with President Petersen so I will likely not be emailing that day.

I love y'all and hope y'all have a great week. And be safe.   Thank you again for y'alls Birthday wishes.

Love,
Elder Wawro

Ton of lessons and success

Dear Family,

Hey, this week was great with a ton of lessons and success, so we are happy!  The Lord is blessing us tremendously and we are so grateful for his hand in this work.

Our new golden investigator is going to be getting baptized this week, so we are excited!  It is cool to see what type of impact living and applying the gospel is making in his life and with the great relationship he and his father are developing.

We also have a few baptisms scheduled for my last Saturday out in the mission field, February 2nd.

I can't think of a better way to end my mission then with helping Heavenly Father to baptize and confirm his children here on earth.

I appreciate y'alls letters.  Also, mom, haha I didn’t really see any questions in the letter you sent me, but let me see if I can get you in the info you are looking for. I will be keeping some clothes, ties, missionary planners, and other missionary stuff.   But there will also be some clothes and other stuff I going to throw away.  I will make sure I bring back some things to show y'all, like how a white shirt looks after wearing it for almost 2 years.

I love y'all, and have great week and be safe!

Love,
Elder Wawro

Awesome and loving Heavenly Father

Dear Family,

Its always good to hear how well y'all are doing, I knew things would be better when I wasn't at home  ...haha .....just kidding.   Good work on all the genealogy!  Thanks for sending a copy of my FanChart with all the crazy names I can't pronounce.

Bad news about our investigator who looked so promising ...he dropped us.  It is so hard to see him go because he is such a great guy and was so receptive to the Holy Ghost, but it's in the Lord's hands and I will trust that everything will turn out all right with him.

Remember, that miracle I briefly and chaotically shared with y'all on the phone during Christmas about visiting that less active?   Well if you don't that’s ok, we are now teaching his son and we set a baptismal date with him for January 19.    He has been to Church the last 2 weeks and has been progressing really well.   We are also teaching daughter in law of our recent convert.  She is progressing really well too and we did have a baptismal date with her but need to reschedule it.

So as you can see our awesome and loving Heavenly Father is blessing us so much and we only hope to have more success.

Well, I love y'all and hope y'all have a good week!

Love,
Elder Wawro
